Originally from Québec, Annik grew up on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River.  She graduated from the Visual Arts program at the University of Ottawa and later studied oil painting at the Ottawa School of Art.  Her oil paintings of landscapes and still lifes combine simple composition and brilliant colour, offering the observer a subtle, yet compelling experience.

Annik has had solo shows in Ottawa and Toronto. The last one “Remembering to See”, a juried show, was held in November 2010 at the city of Ottawa Shenkman Art Gallery. Most recently, she  participated in the group show Art in the County 2015.  Her works can be found in private collections in Canada and abroad.

In the summer of 2014, Annik moved her atelier to Prince Edward County following a successful executive career with the federal government. In addition to still life, Annik is now exploring the landscapes along the Saint-Lawrence Seaway. In the spring of 2015, having joined the Prince Edward County Arts Trail and the Prince Edward Studio Tour, she has opened her studio gallery, Atelier Annik, to County visitors.

She is married with two children.
